Attend a Charlotte City Council Meeting with us

Mon., April 14, 2025, 5:45pm

See what a City Council meeting is like and say what’s important to you

Charlotte’s City Council makes critical decisions affecting everyone in the city, from transportation to housing and more. Although the issue areas that City Council oversees are of importance to all of us, few of us have ever engaged in a City Council meeting. This is a great opportunity to observe what a meeting is like, and if you feel inclined, you can speak on a matter that’s important to you during the Public Forum part of the meeting too. You don’t need to stay for the whole meeting.

The business portion of the meeting begins at 6:30 and takes place in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center at 600 East 4th Street, Charlotte, NC 28202 in room 267. We will meet starting at 5:45 at Public House for a drink before heading over! You’re welcome to join us at Public House or meet us at the meeting.
